We are always looking for talented individuals to augment our skilled staff in primary healthcare, dental, public health, nutrition and education services. Our professional health staff principally work in one of our two Clinica Hombro a Hombro facilities, which include several examination and procedure rooms, on-site laboratory and radiography, ultrasounds, full dental clinics, and pharmacies. These are located in Santa Lucia and Concepcion, Intibuca, Honduras.
We are also looking for passionate teaching professionals to teach and direct our educational programs, including the Good Shepherd Bilingual School, Yo Puedo Girls’ Leadership program, and after-school teaching activities throughout the region.
Even if you’re not a medical professional or educator, we may still have opportunities for you. With a staff of over 100 Hondurans and a budget of 1.55 million dollars, we greatly need the skills and experience of systems and business administration professionals.
We generally request commitments of at least one year to assure that your time in Honduras will be productive for both you and for the communities we serve.
Though the Honduran Ministry of Education is responsible for employing teachers at our bilingual school, we are able to take resumes for qualified, Honduran, bilingual teachers and advocate for a placement at our school.
If you are interested in applying for a volunteer or employment position, please send a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
